About the Role

True Fit seeks a Senior QA Engineer to design, develop and execute manual and automated tests of Platform APIs and applications. Successful candidates will be known for their attention to detail and ability to notice the little things.


  • Test.  Design, build, and execute test suites across multiple services, applications, and technology stacks.
  • Automate.  Design and implement automated tests that exercise the functionality and performance of REST APIs and UI components.
  • Prioritize.  Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Learn.  Learn and use new technologies: Selenium, REST Assured, JMeter, Scala, SQL, AWS, security, scalability, system performance, profiling, etc.
  • Drive Solutions.  You will drive solutions from end to end in an agile, iterative, environment.  
  • Work with others.  You will work with operations, product managers and development leads to come up with ways to invent, productize, and deliver high quality applications.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 4+ years as a QA Engineer
  • Manual Testing.  Ability to design, document, and execuate manual test cases.
  • Automated Testing.  Using frameworks such as JMeter or Selenium.
  • Object Oriented Programming.  Familiarity with an object-oriented language such as Java or C++.
  • Debugging Tools.  Experience writing SQL and using browser developer tools. Deep understanding of the HTTP protocol and REST APIs.
  • Commercial Software.  Experience testing and releasing commercial software products that solve business problems.
  • Motivated.  You love this stuff, are a self-starter with a can do attitude. Advocate for best practices, excellent usability, and exceptional quality.
  • Soft Skills. You need strong listening and communications skills, an ability to drive solutions independently.
  • Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (Math, Physics, Engineering, and/or Computer Science) or relevant industry experience.
